Feeling stressed? Can't get your mind to relax? Try this quick, 90 second tip!
Set your timer on your phone, computer or watch to 90 seconds. Close your eyes, and focus on deep breathing very slowly. Put your hands on your stomach and feel your stomach go out and in as you breathe. Aim for 5-7 deep breaths in 90 seconds. If you end up doing more than 7 breaths, that means you are shallow breathing from your chest and not deep breathing from your stomach. You need to deep breath to get the full relaxing effect from the exercise.

And you can do it anywhere! At your desk at work, in your bed as you are trying to fall asleep or even a take a quick trip to the washroom or another room if you are in a stressful situation! The key thing is to do it, and to do it often. Repetition, repetition, repetition!
