Dr. Alaura Wenmann is a Chiropractor originally from one of the coldest spots in Canada, White River Ontario. Also known as the Hometown of Winnie the Pooh! At a young age, she realized that healthcare wasn’t easily accessible within her rural community and knew that she wanted to make a difference in the health of the North. Many families grew without the opportunity of having a local medical doctor, let alone any form of alternative medicine, such as chiropractic.
Dr. Alaura began her studies at Laurentian University completing a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, where she then found herself calling Sudbury ‘home’. She continued her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She obtained her Functional Integrated Acupuncture Certificate and is also an acupuncture provider.
Dr. Alaura is an advocate for individuals and their families to help them make informed decisions about their health! She is determined to deliver families with the opportunities, education, and treatment that her and her community members never had easy access to growing up. It is her goal to make sure Chiropractic care is made available and accessible in the community for children, mothers, fathers, and grandparents; All spines, from baby to 99!
When Dr. Alaura isn’t preaching health and wellness you can find her exploring mother nature no matter what season! She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fishing, snowboarding, Pilates, spending time with her friends, and travelling home to see her family!
She is looking forward to help heal, ground, and strengthen the roots that flourish your family tree.
